Job Summary

Responsible for purchasing, supplier coordination, cost control, and inventory management to support daily F&B operations.

• Source and purchase food ingredients, packaging, consumables, and operational supplies.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers.
• Prepare and monitor Purchase Orders and delivery schedules.
• Maintain good supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef on ingredient requirements, product specifications, menu planning, costing, and stock availability.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Handle inventory control, including stock movement, stock reconciliation, reorder levels, and stock variance.
• Monitor slow-moving, excess, and near-expiry stock.
• Participate in stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor price changes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Store, Operations, QA, and Finance.
• Maintain proper purchasing and inventory documentation.
• Prepare purchasing and inventory reports for Management.

• Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in F&B, catering, food manufacturing, hotel, or restaurant industry.
• Hands-on inventory control experience is required.
• Familiar with PO, PR, DO, stock count, stock reconciliation, and supplier invoice processes.
• Good negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP, SQL Accounting, or inventory systems is an advantage.
