  • Diploma, Degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably with hands-on responsibility for full set accounts.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysia payroll, statutory contributions, taxation and audit preparation.
  • Experience handling payroll, employee claims and statutory submissions.
  • Experience liaising with auditors, tax agents and Company Secretaries is an advantage.
  • Proficient in accounting software; QNE Accounting experience is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail with good numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple deadlines and take ownership of assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with Management, colleagues and external professional parties.

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Finance & Admin Assistant Manager to oversee the day-to-day finance, accounting, payroll and administrative functions of the Company.

This role is ideal for someone with solid full-set accounting experience who can independently manage monthly accounts, payroll, statutory submissions and financial administration, while coordinating with auditors, tax agents, Company Secretary and other external parties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and bank reconciliations.
  • Perform month-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements, management reports and supporting schedules.
  • Prepare sales invoices, monitor collections and outstanding receivables, and process supplier invoices and payments.
  • Manage monthly payroll, commissions, employee claims and reimbursements.
  • Prepare and coordinate statutory payroll contributions and deductions including EPF/KWSP, SOCSO/PERKESO, EIS and PCB/MTD.
  • Monitor cash flow, project costing, expenses and budget utilisation, and provide relevant financial information to Management.
  • Prepare documentation and schedules for annual audits, corporate tax, SST/Service Tax and other statutory requirements.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, Company Secretary, banks and relevant government agencies.
  • Coordinate corporate secretarial and administrative matters, including statutory documents, resolutions, licences, agreements, renewals and Company records.
  • Maintain proper financial and administrative documentation, internal controls and SOPs, and recommend process improvements where necessary.
  • Perform other finance, payroll and administrative responsibilities assigned by Management.
