Job Description

Responsibilities

About the Role:

Join our global team to lead the end-to-end delivery of Computer-Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) solutions for our international clients, primarily in the semiconductor sector. As CIM Project Manager, you will sit at the center of the project lifecycle - translating presales commitments and client requirements into executable plans, and directing our engineering teams to deliver mission-critical software that drives digital transformation and Industry 4.0 outcomes on time, on budget, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end project delivery for CIM implementations, from contract handover and kickoff through go-live and post-deployment support, across multiple concurrent client engagements.

- Translate solution architectures, proposals, and client requirements handed over from the Presales team into detailed project plans, scope baselines, and delivery schedules.

- Direct and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including software engineers, product leads, and QA, to execute the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) on schedule.

- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines, proactively identifying risks and driving mitigation and change-control processes.

- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders during delivery, managing expectations, communicating status, and resolving escalations.

- Coordinate on-site implementation, testing, and cutover activities at client facilities, including during extended overseas project assignments.

- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers, and deployment and handover packages.

- Partner with Presales during pursuit and scoping stages to validate delivery feasibility, effort estimates, and staffing requirements before contract signature.

- Capture lessons learned and delivery best practices to continuously improve project execution and client satisfaction.

Essential Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of project management experience delivering complex software or systems implementations, ideally within manufacturing execution or CIM/MES environments.

- Proven ability to manage multi-workstream projects involving software engineering, integration, and client-facing delivery simultaneously.

- Strong working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technologies commonly used in CIM solutions (e.g., C#, Java, Vue.js, SQL) sufficient to plan, scope, and communicate technical work credibly.

- Extensive travel flexibility: must be available for an initial training in China and for subsequent overseas project assignments lasting several months.

- A proactive, results-driven mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to lead under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.

- Domain knowledge or experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry (e.g., Fab, Assembly & Test, PCB).

- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 standards, digitization projects, or AI/ML applications in manufacturing.

- Experience working within a global or cross-cultural team environment, coordinating between presales, engineering, and client organizations.
