Project Manager (HealthTech)

Location: Remote (Malaysia Only)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Contract Type: Independent Contractor / Service Contract

Salary: Approximately RM13,000/month

Our client is a rapidly growing HealthTech company developing enterprise software solutions that modernize employee healthcare benefits, claims administration, and digital healthcare operations. Their platform supports enterprise organizations across Asia by improving operational efficiency, automation, and service delivery.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of software development projects
• Coordinate closely with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into clear project plans and deliverables
• Manage project scope, timelines, priorities, risks, and dependencies
• Coordinate enterprise client implementations and system integrations
• Drive Agile ceremonies and delivery planning
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within scope
• Facilitate communication across technical and non-technical teams
• Identify project risks and proactively resolve delivery issues
• Continuously improve project management processes and documentation

Requirements

• 3+ years of Project Management experience
• Experience managing software development projects
• Experience working with Engineering and Product teams
• Strong understanding of APIs, software development lifecycle, and system integrations
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Experience delivering enterprise software projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Fluent in Cantonese (Mandatory)
• Based in Malaysia

• HealthTech experience
• InsurTech experience
• FinTech experience
• Experience managing multi-country projects
• Familiarity with AWS environments
• Experience using modern project management tools

Contract & Work Setup

• Remote full-time role (Independent Contractor / Service Contract)
• Candidates must be based in Malaysia
• Fully remote — no relocation required
• This is an independent contractor engagement, not a local full-time employee position
• No local employment benefits
• You are responsible for your own tax and legal compliance
• Must use your own equipment and internet connection
• Long-term collaboration expected
