YFL Paper is a growing paper manufacturing SME based in Butterworth. We pride ourselves on operational excellence, quality products, and a collaborative work environment. As we scale our operations, we are seeking a versatile and hands-on Finance & Operations Executive to oversee our daily accounting functions, stock control, and general office administration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

Maintain full sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable

(AR), and General Ledger.

Perform monthly account reconciliations, end-of-month closing, and financial reporting.

Oversee tax compliance, e-invoicing processes, and liaise with external auditors/tax

agents.

Monitor daily cash flow, petty cash, and banking transactions.

2. Inventory & Stock Control

Plan, coordinate, and execute regular physical stock checks and inventory audits at the

factory.

Reconcile physical stock counts against accounting system records and investigate

discrepancies.

Collaborate closely with production and warehouse teams to track raw materials,

finished goods, and cost of sales.

3. General Administration & Overseas Coordination

Oversee general office administrative duties, record-keeping, and facility upkeep.

Liaise with overseas suppliers and vendors regarding shipping documents,

invoices, purchase orders, and payment terms.

Manage administrative interactions with local vendors, government authorities, and

corporate secretaries.

Support management with ad-hoc operational tasks and factory-related administrative

duties.

Requirements

Language Proficiency: Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin is required to

handle communications, documentation, and coordination with overseas suppliers and

partners. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia is also needed for local

operations.

Education & Qualification:

Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business

Administration, or equivalent (Degree or Professional Qualifications like

LCCI/ACCA/MIA are a plus).

Work Experience: Minimum 3+ years of practical hands-on experience handling full-set

accounts and stock control. Prior experience in a manufacturing SME environment is

strongly preferred.

Solid understanding of basic accounting standards, tax compliance, and local statutory

requirements.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting, AutoCount, UBS) and

Microsoft Excel.

Meticulous, trustworthy, and comfortable balancing office accounting work with hands-on

factory stock counts.
