Job Title: Cyber Security Operations Engineer
Occupation: CYBERSECURITY ENGINEER

Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Operations Engineer to support regional cyber security operations, security platforms, incident response, and CyberArk-related processes within a 24x7 operational environment.

The role will involve working closely with regional stakeholders, application teams, business users, vendors, and cybersecurity teams to maintain a secure and resilient technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive regional Cyber Security projects, including vendor coordination, stakeholder engagement, implementation, and operational support.
  • Support and maintain Cyber Security platforms and systems, ensuring availability, security, and service quality.
  • Manage and support CyberArk security processes, standards, controls, and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyse system, application, and security activities to identify suspicious or abnormal behaviour.
  • Investigate, escalate, and respond to security incidents, alerts, and events in accordance with established procedures and SLAs.
  • Perform technical troubleshooting and deep-dive investigations to resolve complex security issues.
  • Support security controls across network, host, application, and infrastructure environments.
  • Perform or support vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security reviews, and remediation activities.
  • Review network and packet-level data to support investigations and threat analysis.
  • Work with Network, Infrastructure, Application, Security, and Business teams to resolve security issues and improve controls.
  • Maintain accurate incident records, investigation notes, operational documentation, and shift handover information.
  • Support continuous improvement of cyber security processes, monitoring, tooling, and operational procedures.
  • Keep abreast of new cyber threats, vulnerabilities, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in 24x7 rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, public holidays, and on-call support when required.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in Cyber Security, Security Operations, SOC, Infrastructure Security, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with UNIX, AIX, Linux, and Windows environments.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network security, intrusion detection, internet security, and web technologies.
  • Experience with security products such as:NIDS / NIPSFirewallsHIPSAntivirus / Endpoint SecurityVulnerability scannersSecurity monitoring tools
  • Experience with CyberArk or other privileged-access/security platforms is highly advantageous.
  • Experience investigating security incidents, alerts, abnormal activity, and vulnerabilities.
  • Exposure to vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, forensic analysis, or security testing.
  • Ability to analyse packet-level network data and troubleshoot security-related incidents.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and incident-response skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a 24x7 rotating shift environment, including weekends and public holidays.
