We are looking for Cantonese <> English and vice versa remote medical interpreters who want to join an international company. Over-the-Phone (OPI) and Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) Interpreters at LanguageBridge Solutions. Who will play a vital role in ensuring effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. In this rewarding position, you will serve as a bridge, facilitating understanding and enabling patients to receive the care they need. It is essential that the candidate can understand and interpret a variety of medical-related terminology and be knowledgeable about various medical processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Answer calls in a professional manner, acting according to the Interpreter's code of conduct, HIPAA and FWA.

Be always prepared to take notes during a call.

Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the industry the interpreter works with (healthcare and medical one, specifically).

Participate in our free online professional training.

Communicate and report to your team leader.

Provide accurate and impartial interpretation services during medical consultations, medical terminology, procedures, instructions, information between Cantonese speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare professionals and other healthcare interactions.
