Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong experience managing IT Infrastructure and/or Software Development projects within the Banking domain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, risks, budgets and timelines, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with business and technology objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of IT Infrastructure and/or Software Development projects within banking or financial services environments.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones and resource requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Application Development, Infrastructure, Security, Network, Cloud, Database, QA and Business teams.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and third-party partners.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure delivery within agreed scope, timeline, budget and quality.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide management-level reporting and updates.
• Manage vendor deliverables, contracts, dependencies and performance where applicable.
• Ensure appropriate project governance, documentation, reporting and compliance with organisational standards.
• Work closely with technical teams to manage implementation, testing, deployment and production transition.
• Ensure projects follow appropriate SDLC, Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
• Coordinate project activities across multiple workstreams and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
• Support project governance, audit, risk and regulatory requirements applicable to banking environments.
• Drive issue resolution and escalate critical risks or dependencies to senior management when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in IT Project Management, delivering medium-to-large scale projects.
• Strong experience managing Infrastructure and/or Software Development projects.
• Banking / Financial Services domain experience is mandatory.
• Experience managing cross-functional technology teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, project management methodologies, Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
• Experience in project planning, budgeting, resource management, risk management and delivery governance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with internal technology teams, business users and external vendors.
• Good understanding of enterprise IT environments, with exposure to areas such as applications, infrastructure, cloud, network, cybersecurity, databases or system integration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent documentation, presentation and reporting skills.

Pay: RM11,000.00 - RM16,000.00 per month
