Maintain effective HSE management systems to ensure compliance with HSE legislation
Maintain Company Initial approved risk assessment processes to ensure that generic and site-specific risks are identified, assessed and controlled.
Develop and/or implement and maintain a HSE risk register which identifies the significant HSE risks arising from the business's activities and the measures required to eliminate / reduce these risks to an acceptable level.
Maintain monitoring systems to evaluate progress towards the achievements, group / divisional requirements and assess the overall effectiveness of the management system(s).
Maintain monitoring systems to ensure that accidents, incidents and work-related ill-health cases are reported and investigated in accordance with group and local requirements.
Assist to plan, prepare, conduct and report internal / external audits and inspections.
Implement and maintain an effective HSE performance review and improvement planning process at business unit / branch level.
Facilitate and participate in country and business unit HSE reviews.
Ensure that any learning from the monitoring and review processes is integrated into the performance improvement plans and communicated effectively across the country / business unit, as required.
Identify and spread HSE best practice across the country / business unit(s) range of business activities.
Any other duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
1. Formal Work Safety and Health certifications
2. Minimum 3 years' experience as a HSE practitioner
3. FSM certification, Biz Safety Level 2
4. Manage Work at Height certificate - Assessor / Manager
5. Knowledge and experience of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 will be advantageous
6. strong knowledge
7. Preferably with knowledge of local legislation e.g. WSH/SCDF/NEA
