DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:

1. To ensure steam boiler running efficiently and continuous steam supply to production.

2. To perform rectification and troubleshooting on steam boiler.

3. To perform preventive maintenance and minor repair on steam boiler.

4. To perform water chemical treatment program on steam boiler.

5. To perform daily operation checklist.

6. To liaise with water chemical treatment visiting engineer.

7. To taking care of production hot water tank system.

8. To taking care of hand tools.

9. To taking care of spare parts.

10. To maintain good housekeeping at the workplace.

11. To perform any other duty that may assigned by the superior and management.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:

Maintenance Manager, Executive, Supervisor, Fitter

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

A. Qualification & Experience

1. A Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical / Engineering or equivalent from accredited university or college.

2. Competency certificate in Boilerman Grade 2 by DOSH.

3. Experience in operate, maintenance and repair of fire tube steam boiler.

4. Experience more than 1-2 years working as boilerman.

B. Other Personal Capabilities

1. Able to do water chemical treatment and testing.

2. Able to solve and make decision.

3. Vast knowledge in boiler operation and maintenance.

4. Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
