Define scope and manage business requirements for assigned projects from high level user journeys to detailed functional requirements for system development/enhancement or process improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

• Plan, prepare and conduct/facilitate sessions for business requirements gathering and ensure requirements specifications/project deliverables are produced with quality on timely basis.
• Prepare and present/propose to stakeholders as-is and to-be models relevant to project scope, including modelling process flow/system flow, defining functional requirements & data specifications and system integrations logics, as part of the requirements specifications documentation/user story preparation process with consideration to optimize user journey and enhance user experience where feasible.
• Identify functional improvement & technical development areas and ideate & define to-be model / solution design with technical teams.  
• Develop and maintain requirement traceability matrix and prioritize requirements with stakeholders with alignment to project objectives and timeline.
• Collaborate with project manager and technology team to define project scope, develop high-level project plan and perform risk assessment.
• Perform quality review checks on project deliverables from project teams where required.
• Design test scope & develop test plans, manage/perform and support testing, and conduct training/change management activities.
• Manage post implementation activities including incident resolution/problem solving with root cause analysis, stakeholder engagement activities, lessons learnt for improvement, etc.
• Adapt and apply appropriate delivery methodologies such as SCRUM or Waterfall, where assessed to be best suited for the specific project. 

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business IT, Business Information Systems, IT Management, Computing, Business Administration or related fields.
• Minimum 8-10 or more years’ experience in a Business Analyst / System Analyst / Product Owner role in system development/delivery or process improvement projects.
• Experience in General and/or Life insurance with in-depth understanding of insurance products and processes.
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Good understanding of project management, requirements analysis & solution design, system testing, implementation/change management, stakeholder management best practices, techniques and approaches.
• Proficiency with Ms Visio or other process modelling tools, JIRA, Confluence and other tools for project/system delivery.

Preferred

• Strong process modelling, analytical/numeracy, problem-solving and system design skills.
• Experience in digital transformation or system/platform modernization projects in General and/or Life insurance. 

• AWS certification exam fees fully sponsored + training resources.
• Direct exposure to the regulated industries projects, such as FSI.
