Real Estate Management Services is the largest core business segment of Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. It manages over 5 billion square feet of property globally, providing integrated property management, workplace management, project management, and portfolio services for real estate investors and occupiers..
As Legal Counsel for REMS Asia Pacific, you will report to the General Counsel to provide transactional legal support for regional and global clients across Asia Pacific. This role requires direct engagement with internal stakeholders, clients, vendors, and third parties to deliver strategic legal advice across the REMS business.

Key Responsibilities
Transactional and Contract Management
Review, advise on, draft, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including support for tender responses and issue resolution

Develop, draft, and maintain contract templates to ensure consistency and efficiency

Provide practical, commercially-focused legal guidance aligned with business objectives

Legal Risk and Compliance
Ensure firm and personnel compliance with relevant legal and ethical obligations

Develop and implement processes and procedures to identify and manage legal risks

Oversee regulatory compliance matters and maintain adherence to applicable requirements

Deliver legal training to internal stakeholders

Dispute and Litigation Management
Manage disputes, including HR-related matters and litigation oversight

Collaborate with external counsel when required

Regional Collaboration and Process Improvement
Liaise with legal colleagues both across Asia Pacific and globally to ensure consistent delivery of legal services

Where required, provide in-country legal support within Asia Pacific

Identify and implement changes to improve operational efficiencies and refine legal processes

Required Qualifications and Experience
Professional Background
Minimum 5 years of post-admission legal experience

Qualified and admitted to practice law in Singapore

Experience with complex commercial contracts preferred

Based in and possess the right to work in Singapore

Analytical Excellence:  Detail-oriented with the ability to simplify complex legal issues into practical guidance

Stakeholder Management:  Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage diverse stakeholders effectively

Priority Management:  Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
