Job Description

• Develop and grow new business opportunities within assigned territories.
• Build, manage, and convert a strong sales pipeline to achieve commercial targets.
• Identify and engage new customers across a variety of industries and market segments.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers through a consultative sales approach.
• Conduct product demonstrations, solution presentations, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to provide tailored customer solutions.
• Support marketing initiatives, customer seminars, exhibitions, and industry events.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage CRM updates, sales forecasts, and customer activity reporting.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and drive successful customer outcomes.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in laboratory, scientific, technical, or instrumentation sales.
• Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Strong presentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel across Johor.
• Valid driving licence and own transport.
• Experience selling laboratory analytical instruments will be a distinct advantage.
