Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assess regulatory, legislative, and policy developments impacting SeIndonesia's business operations in Indonesia
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant government agencies, regulators, industry associations, and external stakeholders
  • Support the company's engagement with regulatory authorities and public sector stakeholders
  • Provide strategic advice to leadership on regulatory risks, compliance requirements, and policy developments
  • Coordinate licensing, permits, regulatory submissions, and governance-related matters
  • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and government relations strategies
  • Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, Operations, Finance, and Leadership teams to ensure regulatory alignment
  • Prepare policy briefs, regulatory updates, position papers, and management reports
  • Identify potential regulatory risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Monitor political, economic, and regulatory trends that may impact business operations and market expansion initiatives
Requirements
  • Malaysian Citizen
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Government Relations, Public Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Compliance, Legal, or related functions
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, governance practices, and stakeholder management
  • Experience engaging with government agencies, regulators, industry bodies, or business associations
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical business recommendations
  • Experience working in multinational corporations, F&B, retail, consumer goods, or highly regulated industries is preferred
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Willingness to travel regularly to Indonesia when required
