The Head of Supply Chain provides overall leadership and oversight of Loob Holding’s end-to-end supply chain operations across its portfolio of brands, including Tealive and Bask Bear. The role oversees procurement, purchasing, demand planning and fulfilment, import/export, warehousing, logistics and stock reconciliation to ensure reliable, cost-efficient and compliant supply across Malaysia and international markets.
The role is accountable for supply continuity, inventory accuracy, logistics costs, wastage, inventory investment, Halal integrity and trade compliance, ensuring products and materials are available to support outlets, distribution centres and franchisees.
Supply Chain Strategy & Performance
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with the Group’s business priorities, growth plans and operational requirements.
- Establish and drive performance standards across service levels, cost efficiency, inventory health, supplier performance and supply reliability.
- Identify supply chain risks, capacity constraints and operational gaps, and implement timely mitigation and improvement plans.
- Drive cross-functional planning with Operations, Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Franchise and Finance to ensure supply readiness for business growth, promotions, product launches and market expansion.
- Continuously improve supply chain processes, network capabilities and ways of working to support a scalable, efficient and resilient operation.
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Strengthen the Group’s sourcing position through strategic supplier selection, commercial negotiations and performance management across ingredients, packaging, consumables and operational equipment.
- Build a resilient supplier network across local and international markets while safeguarding cost competitiveness, quality, food safety and Halal standards.
Demand Planning & Fulfilment
- Translate business demand into accurate supply plans by integrating sales trends, promotions, seasonality, new product launches and outlet expansion to anticipate short- and medium-term requirements.
- Balance product availability with inventory efficiency by setting appropriate stock levels, replenishment parameters and allocation priorities while managing shelf life, wastage and working capital.
- Strengthen fulfilment performance by ensuring timely and accurate supply to outlets, distribution centres and franchisees, with proactive intervention on potential shortages, demand spikes and supply constraints.
Import, Warehouse & Logistics
- Ensure the efficient movement of goods across import/export, customs, warehousing and distribution while maintaining regulatory and trade compliance.
- Optimise the distribution network through effective management of logistics partners, delivery performance, lead times and associated costs.
Inventory Control & Stock Reconciliation
- Safeguard inventory integrity through effective stock controls, reconciliation, cycle counts and timely resolution of variances.
- Minimise inventory losses by strengthening controls around expiry, wastage, shrinkage, discrepancies and write-offs.
Performance, Risk & Continuous Improvement
- Strengthen Supply Chain performance by managing budgets, key cost drivers and KPIs across cost, service levels, inventory, supplier performance and operational efficiency.
- Safeguard business continuity by anticipating supply risks, strengthening contingency plans and developing alternative sourcing strategies for critical materials.
- Advance Supply Chain capabilities through process improvement, digitalisation and data-driven insights to improve efficiency, visibility and scalability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations or a related discipline; relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of Supply Chain experience, including 5 years in a senior management or functional leadership role.
- Strong end-to-end expertise across demand planning & fulfilment, sourcing & procurement, import/export, warehousing, logistics and inventory management.
- Proven experience managing high-volume, multi-outlet supply chain operations, preferably within F&B, FMCG or retail, with exposure to both local and international supply networks.
- Strong commercial, analytical and leadership capabilities, with demonstrated ability in supplier negotiation, cost optimisation, working capital management and leading cross-functional teams.
