About the Role
Looking for a Commissioning Engineer to ensure cooling systems are installed, tested, and performing in line with design intent and client requirements before handover. The role will support hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data center projects, covering both new builds and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission chillers, pumps, AHUs, liquid cooling loops, and associated BMS/DCIM interfaces.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, test procedures, and checklists covering FAT/SAT, pre-functional and functional performance testing.
- Conduct site inspections and verify installations against design, O&M manuals, and safety standards.
- Perform functional testing, setpoint verification, alarm testing, and BMS/DCIM integration.
- Document test results and raise, track, and close out defects/snags.
- Support client witness testing and commissioning activities.
- Prepare handover documentation and provide training to operations/service teams.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of commissioning experience in HVAC, data centre cooling, or critical MEP systems.
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation, BMS points, and control sequences.
- Understanding of data centre environments and cooling systems.
- Familiarity with data centre standards, uptime tiers, and redundancy concepts is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical and safety-first approach.
- Good technical reporting and communication skills.
