About the role

We are looking for a talented Kitchen Demi Chef & Chef De Partie to join our dynamic team at ROOTS F&B (KL) SDN BHD in our Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur location. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in the preparation and delivery of exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily preparation and cooking of menu items
• Following recipes and culinary techniques to ensure consistent high-quality food production
• Ensuring all kitchen equipment, tools and work areas are clean, sanitized and well-maintained
• Collaborating with the team to develop new menu ideas and improve existing dishes
• Adhering to all food safety and health regulations
• Providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive work environment

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Demi Chef or Chef De Partie in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment
• Diploma / Certificate / Degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
• A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for food
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
• Position level and salary will be based on experience and performance during the interview.
• Encourage foreign workers with permit to join our team
