Role Description The Assistant Manager role at Jollibee Malaysia is a full-time, on-site position based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Assistant Manager helps oversee daily restaurant operations, including supervising shifts, managing staff schedules, and ensuring consistent food quality, service, and cleanliness. This role supports inventory management, cash handling, and adherence to company policies and health and safety regulations. The Assistant Manager also assists in training and coaching team members, addressing customer feedback, and promoting a positive dining experience. In addition, the role contributes to meeting sales targets, controlling costs, and implementing local marketing or promotional activities as directed by management.

Qualifications

  • Experience in restaurant or retail operations, including supervising teams and managing shifts.
  • Strong customer service and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and health and safety regulations in a food service environment.
  • Capability in cash handling, inventory monitoring, and ensuring accurate reporting of daily sales and expenses.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to work full-time, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, in a fast-paced on-site environment in WP. Kuala Lumpur.
  • Prior experience as a supervisor or team leader in quick-service restaurants or hospitality is preferred.
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent work experience may be considered.
