Instructional Designer – Digital Learning | 12-Month Contract

Location: Malaysia or Remote

Hours: EMEA working hours

Duration: 12-month contract

We are looking for a hands-on Instructional Designer / Digital Learning Specialist to help transform instructor-led training into engaging, effective digital learning experiences for a regional audience.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both the learning design and development sides of instructional design — taking existing content, restructuring it for digital delivery and building polished learning experiences using tools including Articulate 360 and Synthesia.

What you'll be doing:

• Convert instructor-led and presentation-based training into engaging self-paced or blended digital learning
• Design interactions, scenarios, knowledge checks, demonstrations and learner activities
• Develop storyboards, scripts, screen content, job aids and learner resources
• Build digital learning modules using Articulate 360, including Storyline and Rise
• Use Synthesia or similar AI video tools to develop professional learning videos
• Collaborate with SMEs and learning stakeholders to simplify complex information
• Manage content reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback
• Conduct quality checks covering accuracy, functionality, accessibility, branding and learner experience

What we're looking for:

• Experience developing digital learning, e-learning or blended learning
• Hands-on proficiency with Articulate 360 – particularly Storyline and Rise
• Experience with Synthesia or a comparable AI video creation platform
• Sound knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles
• Strong storyboarding, writing and visual communication skills
• Ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging learning journeys
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across time zones
• Finance-related content experience is helpful, but not essential
