Job Responsibilities:

• Organize the day-to-day operations in the designated areas of services.

• To be responsible for scheduling Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians in the service areas.

• Supervise clinical activities offered by the department and re-evaluate from time to time to ensure that clinical resources are most appropriately used.

• To perform medication dispensing and medication counseling.

• Ensure all documents required by legislation are preserved and stored appropriately

• Ensure that only approved products are stored or available for use in the hospital

• To ensure the availability of formulary drugs at all service areas.

• Ensure proper inventory management of pharmaceutical products through periodic cycle count at service areas and drug checks at all storage locations.

• To ensure the security of dangerous drugs, psychotropic substances and controlled drugs are maintained at all times, and their inventory is properly managed.

• To carry out orientation programs for new staff in the department.

• To perform periodic evaluations of respective staff in the department

• To develop and implement training programs for the departmental personnel

• To obtain and disseminate as necessary drug or drug therapy-related information

• To participate in the development and implementation of training programs in pharmacy areas for employees of CVSKL

• To participate, monitor, assess and review departmental KPI or quality indicator

• To undertake any other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.

Requirement:

• Degree in Pharmacy or its equivalent qualification.

• Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably in a hospital pharmacy.
