About the Role
We are looking for a bilingual (Mandarin/English) HR generalist to join our Singapore team as a HR Admin Assistant. This is a hands-on, generalist role covering the full spectrum of HR operations — from recruitment and onboarding to compliance, payroll support, and office administration.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment: job description development, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, contract preparation, onboarding and offboarding.
- Source candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, MyCareersFuture, JobStreet, Indeed, and other relevant platforms.
- Maintain the company's external recruitment presence, including careers page and LinkedIn company page.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain employee records, HR systems, and documentation.
- Support Employment Pass (EP) applications and ensure ongoing compliance with MOM regulations and other statutory requirements (CPF, IRAS).
- Assist with relocation support for incoming employees, including work pass matters and settling-in logistics.
- Support monthly payroll preparation.
- Help establish and improve employee benefits programs and internal HR SOPs.
Administration & Office Support
- Handle day-to-day office administration: supplier management, reimbursements, travel arrangements, supplies replenishment, team events.
- Coordinate with vendors on office facilities, IT infrastructure, and procurement.
- Liaise with government agencies as needed (e.g. MOM) on HR-related matters.
Executive Support (as needed)
- Provide administrative support to leadership, including scheduling and coordination.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or a related administrative role.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written), able to work across bilingual teams and documentation.
- Familiarity with Singapore employment regulations (MOM, CPF, IRAS) is a plus, but not required — willingness to learn is key.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; comfortable owning processes independently.
- Prior recruitment/sourcing experience (agency or in-house) is a plus.
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable in a lean, fast-paced startup environment.
