The Manager, FP&A will support the APAC region by delivering high-quality performance analysis, forecasting and investment support across markets.
The role will also support ad-hoc and corporate finance projects, including integrated financial models for Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow analysis, valuation, and investment-related decision support.
What you’ll do:
Management Reporting & HQ FP&A Support (Maternity Cover)
- Manage the monthly reporting cycle for APAC headquarters and regional management accounts.
- Prepare management reports and variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year, with clear commentary on risks and opportunities.
- Monitor regional head office costs and support cost centre owners in managing expenditure effectively.
- Coordinate month-end inputs with accounting teams to ensure reporting accuracy, completeness and timely submission.
Corporate Finance & Strategic Projects
- Support corporate finance, investment appraisal and ad-hoc strategic initiatives across the APAC region.
- Develop and maintain integrated financial models.
- Develop valuation analysis, including DCF, trading comparables and transaction-multiples approaches where relevant.
- Prepare sensitivities, scenario analysis and investment papers for senior management review.
Executive Reporting, Stakeholder Management & Governance
- Prepare executive-level presentations and management reporting packs.
- Act as a liaison between APAC markets, headquarters and Group Finance to support alignment and accountability.
- Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, reporting quality, data integrity and planning systems.
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support the regional planning cycle, including annual budgets, strategic plans, rolling forecasts and periodic outlook submissions.
- Consolidate APAC market submissions, review assumptions and provide meaningful challenge to support robust forecasts.
- Coordinate planning timelines, templates, assumptions and deliverables across regional, market and Group Finance stakeholders.
Financial Analysis & Business Performance Management
- Deliver insightful financial and operational analysis to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
- Track performance against key financial and operational metrics and support dashboard/reporting enhancements.
- Provide independent challenge to financial assumptions, business cases and performance narratives.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification preferred: CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
- CFA charterholders and CFA Programme candidates are welcome.
- 7–10 years’ progressive experience in FP&A, commercial finance, corporate finance, transaction services or related finance roles.
- Experience in a multinational or matrix organisation with regional responsibilities is advantageous.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, financial analysis and financial modelling.
- Advanced financial modelling, valuation, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles and business performance drivers.
- Experience with SAP, SAP BPC/FICO, Power BI, Anaplan, or similar FP&A systems is advantageous.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management, business partnering, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
