We are looking for a skilled SQA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern test automation tools, frameworks, and methodologies, and will be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks and scripts using industry best practices.

Create and maintain QA artifacts, including Test Cases, Test Reports, and functional/business test cases.

Design and execute end-to-end test scenarios to validate complete business workflows across system components.

Perform manual and automated testing, including Functional, Smoke, Regression, and Cross-Browser testing.

Develop and execute automated tests for web, API, and mobile applications.

Conduct database validation, API testing, and load/performance testing to ensure application quality and reliability.

Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster release cycles.

Review automation scripts developed by team members, ensuring adherence to coding standards and automation best practices.

Report, track, and verify defects while participating in defect triage and root cause analysis.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing standards.

Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Mentor junior QA engineers, facilitate knowledge sharing, and promote automation best practices within the team.

Independently own and manage end-to-end QA activities for assigned projects.

Requirement:

5+ years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance Automation.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Playwright (mandatory).

Strong expertise in automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile application automation.

Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts with proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python (at least one is mandatory).

Proven experience in database testing with strong SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, and data validation.

Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman with a solid understanding of REST APIs.

Hands-on experience with load and performance testing using JMeter, including integration with automation workflows.

Experience with test management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Zephyr, Confluence, and Bitbucket/Git.

Familiarity with TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, and Cucumber.

Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.

ISTQB certification is preferred and will be considered an added advantage.
