Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment.
- Mandarin speaker is preferred as this role requires dealing with China inter-department and customers.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Solid knowledge of production planning, process control, and quality systems.
- Hands-on problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Familiar with lean manufacturing / continuous improvement practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee overall factory operations including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety.
- Plan and manage daily production activities to meet output, delivery, and efficiency targets.
- Monitor production performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure product quality meets company and customer standards; work closely with QA/QC teams.
- Manage and lead production teams, including supervisors and operators; ensure proper manpower planning and discipline.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (productivity, cost reduction, process optimization).
- Oversee machine maintenance and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Coordinate with material control, purchasing, and sales teams to align production with demand.
- Prepare production reports, KPIs, and performance analysis for management review .
