Working Location: KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur.

Employment Type: 1-year extendable contract with Softenger Malaysia Sdn Bhd

Working hours & Mode: Onsite (Monday to Friday)

Competencies and Skills Required:

• Diploma with Computer/IT related major.
• Relevant Work Experience in Manual Testing, Test Automation, Test Management, Agile Testing, Banking (especially Internet Banking).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results for one or more test plans, including component, assembly, product, performance, user acceptance and technical architecture tests.
• Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures.
• Execute test scripts.
• Record problems and issues in accordance with the project's problem and issue management plans.
• Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process.
• Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
• Validate product fixes.
• Inform the test lead/test manager of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process.

Job Specifications:

• Ability to develop test conditions and expected results based on the application requirements.
• Strong attention to details - able to document and follow detailed instructions within test scripts as well as defects tracking documents(i.e., steps to recreate the problem).
• Understanding of testing concepts and how testing fits in with the overall project life cycle.
• Strong knowledge in Banking.
• Able to handle assignment independently with minimum supervision.
• Technical knowledge in banking applications.
• Must be familiar with Agile testing and DevOps methodologies.
