Responsibilities
Job Summary
Prepare and cook food following recipes and quality standards. Manage a kitchen section, maintain cleanliness and food safety, monitor stock, and support kitchen team operations to ensure efficient daily service.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and kitchen procedures to ensure consistent dish quality
Manage and oversee an assigned kitchen section to maintain smooth workflow and timely food preparation
Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented consistently and efficiently to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and food safety standards throughout the kitchen at all times
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control to prevent shortages and waste
Collaborate closely with the Sous Chef and kitchen team to coordinate daily kitchen operations
Support and guide Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff to develop skills and maintain quality standards
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role
Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
