We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, proactive and career-driven Vice Principal who is passionate about education, enjoys leading people, and is ready to grow into a Centre Principal role.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Centre Operations

  • Assist the Principal in managing the overall daily operations of the preschool.
  • Lead, supervise, coach and motivate teachers and support staff.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and high standards of service
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, licensing requirements and relevant government regulations.
  • Conduct daily staff briefings and regular operational meetings.
  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, performance and discipline.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, organised and child-friendly learning environment.
  • Resolve operational issues promptly and continuously improve operational efficiency.

Sales, Marketing & Business Development

  • Develop and execute monthly marketing and student recruitment plans.
  • Drive student enrolment and achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Conduct school tours and convert enquiries into successful enrolments.
  • Plan and organise open houses, school events, holiday programmes and community outreach activities.
  • Manage the preschool's social media and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Build relationships with nearby businesses, residential communities and corporate partners to generate new enrolment opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors, and recommend new marketing strategies.
  • Prepare monthly marketing and sales performance reports.

Parent Engagement & Customer Service

  • Build strong relationships with prospective and existing parents.
  • Handle enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and high parent satisfaction.
  • Promote student retention through proactive parent engagement.
  • Finance, Collections & Administration
  • Monitor student fee collections and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Work with parents to arrange payment plans where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate student records and administrative documentation.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on enrolment, sales, collections and centre operations.
  • Monitor operational expenses and inventory of school supplies.

Human Resource & Team Development

  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding and training new staff.
  • Coach and mentor teachers to enhance performance and professional growth.
  • Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture.

Strategic Planning

  • Work closely with Management to achieve enrolment, revenue and operational KPIs.
  • Analyse centre performance and recommend improvement initiatives.
  • Support Management in expanding the preschool and strengthening its brand.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant preschool experience, preferably with leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Energetic, proactive and passionate about early childhood education.
  • Career-driven with strong leadership potential and a positive attitude.
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (spoken and written). Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently.
  • Experience in student recruitment, marketing, sales or customer relationship management will be an added advantage.
