QUANTITY SURVEYOR

We are looking for a detail-oriented and capable Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for project costing, tender preparation, quantity take-off, claims, variation orders and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-off and cost estimates based on drawings and project requirements.
• Prepare tender documents, quotations and project budgets.
• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Analyse and compare quotations and prepare cost comparison.
• Prepare and evaluate variation orders and additional works.
• Prepare progress claims and payment applications.
• Monitor project costs and ensure proper cost control.
• Assist in contract administration and project documentation.
• Prepare final accounts and project cost summaries.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintain proper records for all project costing, claims and contractual matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong knowledge and willingness to learn may also be considered.
• Good knowledge of construction drawings and quantity take-off.
• Familiar with tendering, costing, claims and variation orders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to meet deadlines.

Employment Type: Full-Time
