Veterinary Nurse / Veterinary Technician (Immediate Hiring)

Dr Paws Vet Care is a growing companion animal practice located in Singapore's East Coast. We are looking for a motivated and dependable Veterinary Nurse / Veterinary Technician to join our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during consultations and procedures
• Animal handling and restraint
• Assist with blood collection and laboratory testing
• Prepare patients, instruments and equipment for surgery
• Monitor anaesthesia and post-operative recovery
• Provide nursing care for hospitalised patients
• Administer medications and treatments under veterinary direction
• Assist with X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
• Maintain treatment areas, equipment and accurate patient records

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant veterinary clinic or animal healthcare experience preferred
• Relevant veterinary nursing, animal care, veterinary technology or related qualification preferred
• Practical veterinary clinic experience will be strongly considered
• Comfortable handling dogs and cats
• Responsible, dependable and willing to learn
• Able to work effectively with veterinarians and other nursing staff
• Candidates with strong practical animal-care skills but fewer formal qualifications are welcome to apply

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $2,600.00 - $3,400.00 per month
