Job Summary
You will assist customers, manage payment and transaction records, and support operations to ensure smooth weekend scrap yard activities.
Responsibilities
Assist new customers at counters by providing clear information about services and answering inquiries to enhance customer experience
Answer reception phone calls promptly and professionally to maintain effective communication
Reconcile operations weighing details with weighbridge records to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Retrieve or create customer profiles in the system to generate accurate payment vouchers
Verify payment details for accuracy and initiate or confirm authentication approvals to secure transactions
Address customer issues and relay feedback to management to support continuous service improvements
Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all transactions to ensure reliable documentation
Regularly update customer and transaction data to maintain data reliability and completeness
Communicate clearly and effectively with operations team, drivers, and management to support smooth workflow
Provide general administrative support by managing office consumables efficiently
Support administrative tasks related to operations and fleet management to facilitate daily functions
Required competencies and certifications
Ability to work on Saturdays and Sundays (weekend work compulsory)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry to minimize errors
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve operational goals
Proficiency in basic computer applications to perform administrative and data management tasks
