Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the design team in delivering creative and practical workplace and office furniture design solutions.
Develop space planning layouts, design concepts, and high-quality 3D visual renderings based on client requirements.
Prepare detailed construction and shop drawings for office furniture and interior fit-out projects.
Review and ensure the accuracy and quality of design documentation before submission.
Prepare presentation materials, including sample boards, material boards, and design proposals.
Collaborate closely with the Sales team to develop design proposals and support client presentations.
Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure design intent is maintained throughout project execution.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, building regulations, and industry standards.
Mentor and guide junior designers, providing technical support and design direction.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, timelines, and client expectations are met.
Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and workplace design innovations.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including experience leading design projects or teams (managerial experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of workplace interior design and office furniture systems.
Proficient in AutoCAD, 3ds Max, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of Revit/BIM is required.
Strong space planning, technical detailing, and construction drawing skills.
Excellent presentation and visualization abilities.
A strong design portfolio showcasing completed projects.
Good command of spoken and written English.
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
