The Role:
We're looking for a Performance & Growth Marketer to own and scale our paid acquisition engine.
We're not looking for someone who simply manages ad accounts or follows a traditional SEO/content playbook. We want someone who understands how modern, AI-native performance marketing works — from audience research and creative testing to paid acquisition, conversion optimisation, attribution, and rapid experimentation.
You'll have significant ownership over the entire acquisition funnel: what we target, what we say, where we spend, how we test, and how we measure results.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You'll be expected to execute independently, challenge existing assumptions, experiment quickly, and build a repeatable growth engine.
You will also work closely with senior leadership and be expected to bring new performance marketing knowledge and frameworks into the organisation — including educating the team on what is working in modern paid acquisition and AI-driven marketing.
What You'll Do:
- Paid Acquisition
- Own and manage paid acquisition campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta, X, and other relevant channels
- Develop channel strategies based on target audience, business objectives, CAC, conversion rates, and expected ROI
- Identify and test new paid acquisition opportunities as platforms and advertising formats evolve
- Manage campaign setup, targeting, bidding, budgets, optimisation, and performance analysis
- Continuously optimise campaigns based on qualified leads and business outcomes rather than vanity metrics
- Build and maintain a structured experimentation framework across channels
2. AI-Native Growth & Creative Testing
- Apply AI tools across research, audience analysis, campaign ideation, copywriting, creative production, testing, and optimisation
- Develop high-volume creative testing systems rather than relying on a small number of static creatives
- Use AI to accelerate iteration while maintaining strong judgement around messaging, positioning, and brand
- Identify emerging AI-driven marketing workflows, platforms, and tools that can improve acquisition efficiency
- Stay ahead of changes in search, advertising platforms, AI search, and consumer discovery behaviour
- Educate senior leadership and the wider team on emerging performance marketing trends, tools, and best practices
3. Funnel & Conversion Optimisation
- Own the journey from ad → landing page → lead → qualified opportunity
- Develop and test landing pages, messaging, offers, CTAs, and conversion flows
- Run A/B and multivariate experiments to improve conversion rates
- Work with internal stakeholders to improve lead quality and conversion beyond the initial acquisition stage
- Identify bottlenecks across the funnel and develop hypotheses to address them
4. Analytics, Attribution & ROI
- Build and maintain reliable tracking and attribution across marketing channels
- Monitor key metrics including CAC, CPL, conversion rate, qualified lead rate, pipeline contribution, and ROAS/ROI
- Produce regular performance reporting with clear insights and recommended actions
- Allocate and reallocate marketing budget based on performance and expected return
- Distinguish between activity metrics and metrics that actually contribute to business growth
5. Market & Audience Research
- Develop a strong understanding of our target audiences across Web3, crypto, AI, fintech, venture-backed startups, funds, and digital asset businesses
- Research customer pain points, buying behaviour, competitors, and market positioning
- Translate market insights into campaign angles, creative concepts, and acquisition strategies
- Continuously test new audience segments and positioning opportunities
6. Growth Experiments & New Channels
- Identify and test new acquisition channels, platforms, communities, partnerships, and distribution opportunities
- Experiment with emerging marketing channels and AI-native discovery/search behaviour
- Build repeatable growth experiments with clear hypotheses, success criteria, and learnings
- Support thought leadership, partnerships, events, and industry activations where they can contribute to acquisition
What We're Looking For:
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, paid acquisition, or growth marketing
- Strong track record managing Google Ads — this is non-negotiable
- Practical experience with LinkedIn Ads and ideally other paid social platforms
- Strong understanding of performance marketing fundamentals, attribution, conversion funnels, and experimentation
- Experience managing meaningful advertising budgets and making decisions based on performance data
- Comfortable owning the entire acquisition funnel rather than focusing only on campaign execution
- Strong interest and practical experience in AI-powered marketing tools and workflows
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly test, learn, iterate, and scale
- Strong analytical thinking and commercial judgement
- Comfortable working independently with significant ownership and accountability
- Excellent written and verbal English
Strong Plus:
- B2B performance marketing experience
- Experience marketing high-value or complex B2B services
- Background in fintech, Web3, crypto, AI, SaaS, venture capital, or professional services
- Experience with marketing attribution and analytics tools
- Experience building landing pages or working closely with designers/developers on conversion optimisation
- Experience using AI tools for marketing research, content, creative generation, or campaign optimisation
- Experience working in a startup or fast-moving environment where you had to build rather than simply operate an existing system
