UNIX Server Build, Configuration & Security Hardening

Shell Scripting / Python Automation

Infrastructure Build & Implementation

• Install, configure, and harden UNIX/Linux servers.
• Build project environments (Development, Test, UAT, Production).
• Configure storage, networking, security, and system services.

Project Support

• Collaborate with application, database, network, cloud, and security teams.
• Participate in project planning, design reviews, and deployment activities.
• Ensure infrastructure readiness for application onboarding and releases.

Automation & Standardization

• Develop automation scripts for server provisioning and operational tasks.
• Implement configuration management and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Standardize server builds and deployment procedures.

Security & Compliance

• Implement OS hardening and security best practices.
• Apply patches and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

• Create and maintain build documents, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
• Provide knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.
• Maintain project-related technical documentation.

5+ years experience in UNIX/Linux administration
Bachelors Degree in Computers or related.
