Job Summary

Develop and maintain technical drawings and specifications to support construction projects, collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate documentation and submission approvals.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain dimensional and non-dimensional drawings for project layouts to support construction planning

Revise technical drawings based on instructions and comments from engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance

Create computer-generated drawings including cable detection drawings, isometrics, details, plans, schedules, and data sheets for project documentation

Coordinate and prepare technical specifications in collaboration with Project Managers and Engineers to facilitate drawing submissions and approvals

Maintain organized document control and filing systems to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with project requirements

Perform additional related duties as assigned by supervisors to support project needs and team objectives

Required competencies and certifications

Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or equivalent as stated: "Diploma/ Degree in Architecture/ Civil Engineering or equivalent"

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office for creating and managing technical drawings and documentation

Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry to effectively perform core duties

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Good interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication and teamwork as indicated by: "Good interpersonal skills and able to work as a team"
