Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Land Surveyors to support setting-out, dimensional control and surveying activities for building construction projects.

The successful candidates will work closely with engineers, project teams and subcontractors to ensure construction works, structural elements and precast installations are accurately positioned and carried out according to approved drawings and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Surveying & Setting-Out

• Establish and maintain project control points, reference points and benchmarks.
• Carry out setting-out works for structural, architectural and other construction elements.
• Verify alignment, levels, coordinates and dimensions according to approved drawings.
• Conduct as-built surveys and prepare relevant survey documentation.
• Monitor structural movement and settlement where required.
• Ensure precast installation positions and setting-out lines comply with design requirements.

Site Coordination

• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors and site teams on surveying and dimensional requirements.
• Provide surveying support for ongoing construction activities.
• Identify and highlight dimensional discrepancies or site issues to the relevant project personnel.
• Support inspections and verification activities where required.
• Coordinate surveying activities according to the construction programme.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, calculations and reports.
• Maintain surveying data and relevant project documentation.
• Assist with preparation of as-built information and project handover documentation.
• Perform other relevant surveying duties assigned in support of project delivery.

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant surveying experience, preferably within building or construction projects.
• Experience in HDB or similar large-scale residential construction projects will be an advantage.
• Familiar with construction surveying, setting-out works and site measurements.
• Able to establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks.
• Able to read and interpret construction, structural and architectural drawings.
• Proficient in the use of relevant surveying instruments and surveying software.
• Familiarity with precast setting-out and dimensional control will be advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively with engineers, subcontractors and site teams.
