Role Description This Finance & Project Internship is a hybrid role based in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with some work-from-home flexibility. The intern will assist with financial data collection, basic analysis, and preparation of reports to support project budgeting and cost tracking. Daily tasks include supporting project documentation, maintaining spreadsheets and dashboards, and helping monitor timelines, milestones, and resource usage. The role also involves coordinating with team members to gather information, preparing presentations, and contributing to process improvements in both finance and project workflows. The internship offers exposure to Govtech and Fintech projects and an opportunity to learn how digital initiatives are evaluated, planned, and executed.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in finance, accounting, and project management, with basic skills in data analysis and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management or collaboration tools is an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Management or a related field.
• Interest in Govtech and Fintech, and willingness to learn about digital solutions that promote inclusion and impact.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, take initiative, and work independently with guidance from supervisors.
