About the Role

We are looking for a detailed-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Executive to join our Finance Department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable functions, processing supplier invoices accurately, executing timely payments, and maintaining vendor relationships while supporting month-end financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable Management: Verify, process, and match supplier invoices, debit/credit notes, Purchase Orders (PO), and Goods Received Notes (GRN) with proper authorization.
• Payment Processing: Prepare payment schedules and process payments via online banking, cheques, or telegraphic transfers (TT), ensuring zero overdue payments.
• Vendor Management: Handle supplier inquiries, resolve invoice discrepancies, and coordinate closely with Procurement and Warehouse teams.
• Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform monthly AP aging reconciliations, reconcile supplier statements, and assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Audit & Compliance: Maintain proper filing and documentation for internal/external audits while strictly adhering to internal financial controls.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting (Fresh graduates with strong accounting qualifications are encouraged to apply!).
• Industry Experience: Manufacturing or F&B/retail industry experience is an added advantage.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with accounting software/ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Key Competencies: High attention to detail, strong reconciliation skills, accuracy, and good communication abilities.
