AI Infrastructure Procurement Lead

About the Role

We are looking for an AI Infrastructure Procurement Lead to drive strategic sourcing and procurement for GPU, server, cloud, and data center infrastructure. This role will support the company’s AI infrastructure expansion by securing critical hardware, infrastructure resources, and vendor partnerships across global markets.

The ideal candidate will have direct experience in GPU procurement, AI/HPC server sourcing, or data center infrastructure procurement. Candidates with strong experience in server hardware, semiconductor components, cloud infrastructure, or IT infrastructure procurement will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement for AI infrastructure projects, including GPU servers, data center hardware, cloud resources, networking, storage, and related infrastructure components.
• Source and negotiate with GPU, server, OEM/ODM, distributor, data center, and cloud infrastructure vendors.
• Manage supplier selection, RFQ/RFP processes, commercial negotiations, contract review, and purchase execution.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key vendors, including server OEMs/ODMs, component suppliers, cloud providers, data center providers, and technology distributors.
• Support procurement of GPU-related infrastructure, including servers, racks, switches, storage, PSU, DIMM/DRAM, SSD/NAND, cooling, cabling, and network equipment.
• Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, finance, legal, and operations teams to align sourcing strategies with technical and business requirements.
• Monitor market trends, supply constraints, lead times, pricing movements, and allocation risks across GPU, semiconductor, server, and data center hardware markets.
• Develop sourcing strategies to improve cost competitiveness, supply continuity, delivery timelines, and vendor performance.
• Support capacity planning, deployment schedules, and infrastructure expansion across APAC and global markets.
• Drive cost optimization through supplier negotiation, should-cost analysis, TCO evaluation, dual sourcing, and contract optimization.
• Establish procurement processes, vendor evaluation frameworks, supplier performance metrics, and risk management mechanisms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or vendor management experience.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
• GPU procurement / NVIDIA GPU sourcing
• AI server / HPC server / rack server procurement
• Data center infrastructure procurement
• Server components, semiconductor, memory, SSD/NAND, DRAM/HBM, networking, or storage sourcing
• Cloud infrastructure or IT infrastructure procurement
• Strong experience in RFQ/RFP management, supplier negotiation, contract management, and vendor performance management.
• Familiarity with AI infrastructure, cloud, data center, server hardware, or semiconductor supply chains.
• Strong commercial sense, analytical skills, and ability to manage complex supplier relationships.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical, finance, legal, and operations teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred, due to regional supplier and stakeholder communication needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with companies in cloud, AI infrastructure, hyperscale data centers, semiconductor, server OEM/ODM, or electronics manufacturing.
• Experience working with vendors such as NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Supermicro, Inspur, Quanta, Wiwynn, Foxconn, Inventec, Wistron, Arrow, Avnet, Ingram Micro, or other technology distributors.
• Knowledge of GPU server BOM, including GPU, CPU, HBM/DRAM, DIMM, SSD/NAND, PSU, NIC, switch, chassis, liquid cooling, cabling, and rack-level infrastructure.
• Experience with LTA negotiation, allocation management, shortage mitigation, dual sourcing, and supply assurance.
• Prior exposure to APAC, China, Taiwan, or Southeast Asia hardware supply chains.
