Job Description: Fire Protection Engineer

Position Purpose

The Fire Protection Engineer designs and supervises systems that detect and put out fires without destroying sensitive electronic hardware. They ensure the building complies with strict life-safety laws.

Key Responsibilities

· Specialized Suppression: Oversee the installation of data centre-specific fire systems, including Pre-Action sprinklers and Gas Suppression Systems (e.g., FM-200, Novec 1230, or Inert gas).

· Early Detection: Supervise the deployment of VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) and regular smoke detector networks.

· Bomba Clearance: Manage room integrity testing (door fan tests) for gas rooms and lead inspections to secure the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) from Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat.

· Life Safety Integration: Ensure fire alarm systems smoothly trigger fire doors, access control overrides, and HVAC shutdowns during emergencies.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
