We’re Hiring: Project Manager - PMO, Technology Governance & Risk Management.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong hands-on expertise in end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder management, project governance, technology governance, risk management, and cross-functional team coordination.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Work Setup: Onsite

Contract Duration: 1 Year (Extendable / Renewable)

Candidate Eligibility: Open to Malaysian local candidates only

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in Project Management.
• Proven track record in delivering medium to large-scale projects.
• Experience managing cross-functional project teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience managing project budgets, timelines, risks, and vendor deliverables.
• Exposure to Project Governance, PMO, Technology Governance, or Risk Management is preferred.
• Previous experience in consulting is an advantage.
• Experience in Insurance or Financial Services is preferred.
• Familiarity with regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements within financial institutions is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, through to closure.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and governance materials.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Business, Technology, Vendors, and External Stakeholders.
• Drive effective stakeholder engagement and communication at all levels.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve project risks and issues.
• Track project progress and provide regular reporting to project sponsors and senior management.
• Manage change requests and ensure alignment with strategic objectives and business priorities.
• Support project governance, including steering committee meetings, project reviews, and status reporting.
• Ensure compliance with project management frameworks, controls, and standards.
• Facilitate decision-making and escalation management where required.
• Apply structured problem-solving and consulting approaches to project challenges.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements, business outcomes, and implementation roadmaps.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote project delivery best practices.

• Experience in Insurance, Financial Services, or Consulting would be a strong advantage.
