Job Title- Data Center Build Project Manager

Location: Malaysia

Working Hours: Primarily EMEA/APJ hours; AMER hours for secondary projects

Role Summary

The Data Center Build Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and delivering data center infrastructure projects from planning through commissioning and operational handover. The role will primarily focus on global network refresh projects, including replacing end-of-service-life switches and networking equipment across EMEA and APJ, while also supporting data center capacity projects in AMER.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of data center and infrastructure projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and delivery plans.
• Coordinate activities across Engineering, Procurement, Commissioning, Operations, Architecture, and other internal teams.
• Drive internal stakeholders to complete project activities within agreed timelines.
• Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and corrective actions.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Facilitate issue resolution and drive timely decision-making.
• Coordinate commissioning activities and operational handover.
• Ensure projects comply with company standards, quality requirements, and business objectives.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, schedules, and tracking dashboards.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing data center, infrastructure, networking, or technology projects.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, coordination, and delivery skills.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and project priorities.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to drive internal teams and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Familiarity with project management and scheduling tools.
• Experience with network refresh, data center build, infrastructure deployment, or capacity projects will be an advantage.
