Production Assistant Technician (1-Year Contract)
Working Hours: 1st Shift (6:45 AM to 3:00 PM)
Work Schedule: 5-Day Workweek, Monday to Friday

Job Summary
The Production Assistant Technician supports the Cell Technician in daily production activities, quality monitoring, material preparation, and basic troubleshooting to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe production operations.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue packaging details, PE bags, labels, and PPQC forms to Production Operators.
- Check, validate, and ensure the correct packaging materials and production documents are issued.
- Monitor product quality across all assigned cell machines and promptly inform the Cell Technician of any quality issues.
- Ensure Production Operators perform quality checks and follow established work procedures and quality standards.
- Assist the Cell Technician in managing production waste, reducing machine downtime, and improving operational efficiency.
- Perform material colour changes (e.g., Natural to Black or other colours) according to work instructions and procedures.
- Report equipment, machine, or process abnormalities to the Technician for troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Provide relief coverage for Production Operators during meal breaks and rest periods.
- Assist with housekeeping activities and maintain 5S standards within the production area.
- Perform any other duties assigned.

Qualifications
- Higher NITEC, NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or related disciplines.

Experience
- 1 to 4 years of experience in Injection Moulding processing is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.

Skills & Requirements
- Able to read, write, and communicate in basic English.
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
- Ability to understand and follow work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety requirements.
- Good attention to detail with strong quality awareness.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a production team.
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Experience in injection moulding operations will be an advantage.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Able to work permanent 1st Shift schedule (6:45 AM to 3:00 PM).
