Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Clinic Assistant role based at U.n.i Klinik Semabok Perdana in Malacca, Malaysia. The Clinic Assistant supports daily clinic operations, including greeting and registering patients, managing reception duties, and handling appointment bookings and inquiries. Responsibilities include assisting with basic patient care activities as directed by healthcare providers, maintaining patient records, and helping ensure the clinic environment is clean, organized, and safe. The role involves coordinating patient flow, providing clear information to patients, and supporting administrative tasks such as documentation, billing preparation, and handling phone calls. The Clinic Assistant works closely with medical staff to provide a positive experience for every patient.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with patients and colleagues.
  • Experience or aptitude in Receptionist Duties, including managing appointments, phone calls, and front-desk operations.
  • Basic understanding of Medical Terminology and Patient Care to support healthcare providers in daily clinical tasks.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, perform administrative tasks, and use clinic management or scheduling systems.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification or training in healthcare assistance or medical administration is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
