The IT Innovation Specialist supports the design and delivery of cross-business innovation initiatives. The role works with Business Units to define business challenges, structure and manage pilots, evaluate emerging technologies, measure business outcomes, and recommend whether initiatives should be scaled, refined, or discontinued.
You will be part of the IT innovation team which develops processes, enablers and partnerships to enable innovation across Resorts World Sentosa.
Role Responsibilities:
- Partner with Innovation Champions across Business Units to scope innovation trials, sharpening challenge statements, defining target outcomes, and structuring pilots that are lean and impactful to Resorts World’s strategic priorities.
- Plan and manage budgets related to POCs and POVs under Innovation Lab. Track and report on the impact of innovative initiatives, including ROI, adoption rates, and business outcomes.
- Surface innovation strategic dilemmas to Senior Management and bring well-reasoned recommendations or portfolio trade-offs. Document POC results, learnings, and recommendations for scaling or discontinuation.
- Continuously scan the local and global landscape for emerging technologies, industry disruptions and trends, identify opportunities to strengthen Resorts World Sentosa’s innovation pipeline and long-term competitive positioning.
- Act as a strategic thought partner and sounding board to Resorts World Sentosa’s innovators, workshopping future-state concepts of operations, uncover opportunities to innovate, and shape technology roadmaps that are grounded in both strategic intent and operational reality.
- Define innovation priorities in alignment with business and technology strategies. Develop and maintain a roadmap for innovation initiatives, including timelines, milestones, and success metrics.
- Ensure innovation activities comply with organizational policies, data protection regulations, and security standards.
Role Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Engineering,
- At least 8-10 years of relevant experience spanning innovation management, corporate strategy, IT project management or technology advisory, or a related field.
- Experience in large, matrix organisations (gaming, tourism, infrastructure, real estate, hospitality, or technology sectors preferred), and prior experience in innovation projects management, project appraisal or financial performance evaluation would be advantageous.

- Technology fluency and execution: Conversant in a broad range of emerging technologies and data strategy, and able to evaluate what is worth trialling and discern genuine opportunity from hype. Possess strong understanding of user experience design and with agile methodologies, project management tools, and cross-functional team leadership.
- Business acumen: Perform financial modelling for project appraisal and develop term sheet for commercialisation partnerships.
