Responsibilities
About the Role
We are looking for a resourceful HR & Admin Coordinator to manage workforce administration and regulatory liaison for our foreign workforce. This role requires fluency in Tamil to communicate effectively with Work Permit holders, alongside strong command of English for dealing with government agencies and management.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact between Tamil-speaking Work Permit holders and management, resolving day-to-day concerns and grievances
Prepare and process Work Permit applications, renewals, and appeals (WP(PA)) in coordination with MOM
Draft and maintain MOM-compliant documentation, including payslips, employment contracts, and regulatory correspondence
Liaise directly with MOM, TADM, and other statutory bodies on compliance matters, appeals, and mediation sessions
Support onboarding of new foreign workers, including briefings on employment terms, safety, and welfare in Tamil
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure timely compliance with Singapore employment regulations
Assist in drafting Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and other WSH-related documentation as needed
Handle sensitive employee matters (disputes, loan/salary queries, welfare issues) with discretion and cultural sensitivity
Requirements
Fluency in Tamil (spoken and written) is mandatory; proficiency in English required
Minimum 2–3 years' experience in HR/admin, preferably within construction or a Work Permit-heavy industry
Working knowledge of MOM regulations, Work Permit processes, and employment law in Singapore
Strong interpersonal skills; able to manage difficult conversations with workers and regulators alike
Detail-oriented, able to handle confidential and time-sensitive matters independently
Prior exposure to TADM mediation or MOM appeals processes is a strong advantage
