Job Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s IT systems, computers, laptops, printers, network devices, and other IT equipment.
• Ensure all IT systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure are functioning properly.
• Monitor network performance, internet connection, servers, and other IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Provide daily technical support to employees and assist them with IT-related problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, software, printers, CCTV, and other IT equipment.
• Set up computers, user accounts, email accounts, and access rights for new employees.
• Respond to IT issues and ensure problems are resolved within a reasonable timeframe.
• Maintain and support the company’s ERP, HR, payroll, accounting, warehouse, POS, e-commerce, and other business systems.
• Liaise with software vendors or external IT service providers for system support and troubleshooting.
• Monitor system issues, updates, upgrades, and software licenses.
• Assist departments in improving the use of IT systems and digital tools.
• Maintain the company’s LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, VPN, and network infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain user access, passwords, permissions, and security settings.
• Ensure antivirus, firewall, backup, and security measures are properly maintained.
• Monitor and respond to potential IT security issues.
• Perform regular backup of important company data and systems.
• Ensure backup systems are working properly and data can be recovered when required.
• Assist in data recovery and system restoration during system failures or emergencies.
• Maintain an updated record of company IT assets including computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, network equipment, and other IT equipment.
• Monitor the condition and usage of IT equipment.
• Coordinate repair, replacement, upgrading, and disposal of IT assets.
• Ensure IT equipment is properly assigned to employees and returned when employees leave the company.
• Monitor and maintain the company’s CCTV system and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot CCTV, access control, alarm, and other electronic security systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors for installation, maintenance, and repair when required.
• Liaise with internet service providers, software vendors, IT contractors, and other technology suppliers.
• Obtain quotations and compare IT-related products and services when required.
• Monitor vendor service quality, maintenance schedules, warranties, and service agreements.
• Assist in implementing new IT systems, software, hardware, and digital solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve the company’s IT processes and efficiency.
• Support digitalisation projects and automation initiatives across departments.
• Assist management in evaluating suitable technology solutions for business operations.
• Maintain proper documentation of IT systems, network configuration, passwords/access records, licenses, warranties, and IT assets.
• Prepare IT reports, incident records, maintenance records, and system status reports.
• Maintain proper records of IT problems and solutions for future reference.
• Provide basic training and guidance to employees on company IT systems, software, cybersecurity, and proper use of IT equipment.
• Educate employees on IT security practices, password protection, phishing awareness, and data protection.
• Ensure IT-related company policies and procedures are properly followed.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of company information and data.
• Perform any other IT-related duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
