Job Description

Responsibilities

Our client is a well-established and growing consumer products business with regional operations.

They are looking for a Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Executive to manage end-to-end procurement and supply chain activities, covering supplier sourcing, negotiation, purchasing, inventory planning, logistics coordination, and import/export requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management to achieve competitive cost, quality, and reliability.
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of products and materials.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to monitor shipments and resolve delays.
  • Manage import/export documentation, including PI, PL/CIPL, COO, BL, HS codes, and Incoterms requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, lead times, and replacement parts availability.
  • Support demand forecasting, new product launches, and procurement planning with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, and Logistics teams.
  • Analyse purchasing, sales, inventory, and supplier performance data to support business decisions.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure supplier invoices are properly verified and submitted for timely payment.
  • Mentor junior team members and support the continuous improvement of procurement and supply chain processes.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant procurement and supply chain experience.
  • Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, furniture, automotive, or related industries is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing, supplier negotiation, inventory management, import/export, customs, and Incoterms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to travel for supplier visits when required.
