Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Internship Trainee role based in Petaling Jaya. The Internship Trainee will support the audit and accounting team with tasks such as preparing working papers, assisting in financial statement reviews, and helping with documentation and data entry. The role includes learning to apply accounting standards, supporting basic tax and compliance work, and participating in client engagements under supervision. The trainee will collaborate with team members, attend internal trainings, and contribute to administrative tasks necessary for smooth engagement delivery. This position is designed to provide practical exposure, mentorship, and a foundation for a career in audit and accounting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and basic auditing concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting or audit software is an advantage.
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to organize and document work accurately.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
• Willingness to learn, openness to feedback, and a proactive approach to handling assigned tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work on-site in Petaling Jaya throughout the internship period; availability for standard office hours on a full-time basis.
• Interest in pursuing professional accounting qualifications or memberships in relevant professional bodies is a plus.
