Full Lorry Driver — Job Description

Job Title: Full Lorry Driver
Department: Logistics / Transport
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Drive and operate company lorries safely for delivery and collection of goods.
• Transport goods between warehouses, suppliers, customers, and job sites.
• Load and unload goods safely, ensuring items are properly secured during transportation.
• Check delivery orders, invoices, and other transport documents.
• Ensure goods are delivered on time and in good condition.
• Conduct basic daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned lorry.
• Follow traffic laws, company safety procedures, and transportation regulations.
• Assist with loading/unloading when required.
• Collect delivery signatures and submit completed documents to the company.
• Report accidents, delays, vehicle problems, or delivery issues to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties related to transportation and logistics as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Valid driving licence appropriate for the lorry class.
• Relevant experience as a lorry driver is preferred.
• Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading work.
• Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Able to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.
• Good driving record with no serious traffic offences.

Working Conditions

• Based on assigned delivery routes and company requirements.
• May involve long-distance driving and frequent loading/unloading.
• Working hours may vary depending on delivery schedules.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
