As an Accounts Intern, you’ll work closely with our Finance team and gain practical exposure to billing, invoicing, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and accounting administration.

This internship is suitable for students pursuing Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields who are looking to develop practical skills and understand how accounting works in the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accounts Intern, you will assist the Finance team with:

• Assisting with customer billing and invoicing, including Disbursement, Customs Duty, and general invoices
• Preparing and issuing customer invoices using the SQL accounting system
• Assisting in generating monthly Statements of Account (SOA)
• Issuing receipts and updating payment records in the system
• Assisting with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities
• Keying in vendor invoices and credit notes into the system
• Assisting with payment processing and payment documentation
• Supporting payment follow-ups with suppliers and customers when required
• Maintaining proper accounting records and filing financial documents
• Performing data entry and basic reconciliation tasks
• Providing general administrative and clerical support to the Accounts/Finance team
• Assisting with other accounting-related tasks and ad-hoc assignments as required

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Students who are required to complete an internship as part of their studies are encouraged to apply
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documents
• Willing to learn and take on new tasks
• Responsible, organised, and able to meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willing to work in a fast-paced logistics environment

Training and guidance will be provided throughout the internship.

Pay: RM500.00 - RM700.00 per month
